Back To Life... Back To Reality (Remember that song?)

We had such a great break. I actually ended up with about 3 weeks off, including snow days. We had a great time in Seattle with the usual bowling, Christmas program, and potato soup. Parker was able to head to McCall for a few days to see family and marvel at the new construction of his family's home. Now we're back to the grind. Parker had to take 4 of his makeup finals this week whilst beginning his most difficult quarter. He will finish his final 4 next week. What a trooper!

As we're all heading back to our routines, I wanted to share with you what I do every day...

I get to spend all my time with these cuties: Isabella (almost 5) and Christina (almost 2)

They both have such fun, spunky personalities. I spend most of my time cracking up at the new things they do. I'm getting a small dose of the pride parents have for their children.

Both Isabella and Christina love to dance. When Christina was barely walking, I would take her downstairs to do laundry and she would shake her hips and bounce up and down to the dryer sound... so funny. I'm certain she learned all her moves from her sister. They just feel it and have to move.

I've had such a great time with these girls this year and am so grateful for my job. It has so many perks! (Not that it doesn't come with challenges :0) I've really bonded with them and miss them when I'm gone.

I hope your jobs are fulfilling as well and that you can find joy in your days!!

xoxo

Those girls are so cute! I love hearing about your job. Although,I am sure it is hard sometimes, it would be such a rewarding job. I know you, you would be the FUNNEST best nanny ever!

Hey me and Jared just blog-stalked you guys and I'm so pleased that the first thing I saw was a reminder of that awesome song from the early '90s. Just what I needed.
