We had such a great weekend. We celebrated both Parker's 30th birthday and Jack's blessing. We feel so lucky (and loved) that most of our immediate family was able to attend. The list includes my parents, two brothers and their families, Parker's paternal grand-parents, parents, sister from New Mexico, sister from Boise and her family, and his 3 brothers. 27 in all! It was quite the group to go to dinner and have dessert at our house, but it was so much fun. Thanks to all who made the trek! It meant so much to us.
I gave Parker a skydiving gift certificate for his birthday. He's totally excited and totally terrified all at the same time!! :)
Banana cream pie for Parker every year. He doesn't do cake, so ever since he was little he's gotten pie for his birthday. It made it easier to celebrate 30 years with his own adorable baby sitting in his lap.
Out to dinner with the group.

Jack with Great-Grandma Lamm. She's the sweetest woman you'll ever meet. You can tell that Jack already knows that.
Jack took a liking to his Aunt Lisa right away. He would just snuggle her and fall right asleep in her arms. I think he's got his first crush.

We had such a great time. We're so glad we could come down. I love that Parker has pie for his birthday. I'm not a big cake fan, I think I might have to copy him next year.
