I hate that this baby is changing so fast. SLOW DOWN, please. Today is day 14. I know. I'm as shocked as you are. This has been thee fastest two weeks of my life.
Charlie is such a great baby. So far. (I have to say that because as soon as I thought that with Jack, he changed. Okay, maybe I shouldn't say it at all...) He has not been fussy. He cries when he's hungry and that's about it. (Thank goodness 'cause Jack doesn't do well when he cries.) He actually sleeps-instead of screams- in the car. He sleeps all night, except to eat (2-3.5 hours) of course. He has lots of pleasant awake time. He is a GREAT eater. Did I luck out or is Heavenly Father just easing me in? Either way, I'll take it.

Yesterday, Jack tried to nurse. Hahahaha!
Mr. Jack is adjusting. Not well, necessarily. He loves Charlie. He just doesn't love me a lot these days. He's been pretty whiny. (I don't do whiny.) I'm trying to balance nursing and Jack time. I'm sure I'll figure it out.

I can't believe he's already two weeks old! He is such a cutie. Jack looks like such a proud big brother. It will take time for Jack to adjust, but kids are resilient, Jack will get used to it, Charlie will start eating less frequently, and you will get more sleep. It just takes time.
Oh! I'm a sucker for those cute chubby cheeks! He is adorable! Jack will figure things out. I'm also not a fan of whining (who is?). But, all my kids do it. 24/7. It never ends. Not sure it ever will... But, Jack will adjust. I'm pretty sure #2 was my hardest because the oldest had no one to be entertained by. #3 was easier. The two oldest played with each other when I slept or fed the baby. It'll work out though. Your kids are exactly the same 2 year gap as mine where. It just took a little time to figure out. Playgroups/dates were always a great way to entertain the toddler. In a couple years you will be so grateful to have 2 boys close in age. Built in best friends. :) Sounds like you are doing well and loving your new little one! He is darling!
I completely agree, the time with the second seems to fly by even faster. Poor Jack and Sophie are both in the same boat. I am not sure how many times a day I have to say, "I will get that for you when I finish feeding Addie." She is doing pretty well and she can do a lot for herself now so that helps, but it is still a challenge. Good Luck!
He is CUTE! If you can read to Jack while Charlie's nursing, that helps. He will get used to the change in the amount of attention he gets pretty soon. If you can make him feel important by "needing his help" with the baby that might help.
Keep making more babies because they are adorable!
Charlie is ADORABLE!!! Oh, and so is Jack of course. He's still king.
Ah... and you will do way better with baby 2, now that you get it's okay if they cry. They won't die, right?
I nearly ruined baby 1 in our household, but he's in his 40's now, so he survived all of my failed experiments. Haaa!
What a cute, cute family.
Hugs!
