This is for you, GRAMMY!

Charlie is 10 months old!! He loves to eat. He's sleeping a bit better these days. In fact, he slept until 7 am today. Hallelujah. If he doesn't nurse to sleep, he can fall asleep on his own, but he only does about half the time. The other half he likes to be rocked. He pulls himself up onto everything and is cruising along furniture. The other day, he stood up all by himself holding a ball. I don't think he realized what was happening! He's done it a couple of times since then. He likes to hide his face and play peek-a-boo. If I happen to leave the bathroom door open, he quickly makes his way to the toilet and toilet paper. I've said it before, but I'll say it again. He's super snuggly! And we love it. If someone smiles at him while you're holding him, he'll grin and bury his face in your chest. It's the sweetest. He's been a bit whinier lately, but he's been getting teeth and has been sick. And, for the most part, he's still a TOTALLY easy-going baby.
A couple of weeks ago, Jack decided to wake up at 5am a couple of mornings and this was the result around 4pm.

Don't be jealous- we took ourselves a little road trip to Rexburg, ID- Home of BYUI, where we met. Lots has changed since we lived there 7 years ago. It was fun to see the growth, but more fun to see all the stuff that hadn't changed.
This one fell asleep about 3.9 seconds into the drive- no surprise, but we were so grateful, nonetheless. Check out the jowls on that bad boy.
If you know anything about Jack's road trip history, you know ^this^ is a MIRACLE.
Jack loved the FREEZING pool. Thank goodness for the hot hot tub.
Charlie's first swim!
Jack's favorite part of the whole trip- the "elabayduhs!"
Jack's first bowling game! He's now a true Stephens.
Poor Charlie was super sick at one point and we dragged him around anyway. Poor baby.
Out to dinner.
I got to go to the temple one of the days. Gorgeous, eh?
The drive home. Ahhhh.

What cute boys! Your road trip looked like fun, I'm glad you were able to get away for a few days. I can't believe Jack fell asleep in the car, that is amazing! Tell Jack to keep practicing his bowling so he'll be ready to show us all up on Christmas!

How fun! I love that Charlie is snuggly and sleeps in the car. He wins the Awesome Baby Award.
