Jack and I took the Amtrak train up to Seattle for Thanksgiving to spend a few extra days with the fam. It was SO neat. They gave me 2 seats... thank goodness 'cause nobody wants to sit right next to a mama nursing her baby. (Not to mention me nursing my baby next to a stranger!) Parker came up a couple of days later with all of our junk!
My parents' house was Party City on Thanksgiving Day.
We had a mini shower for my SIL who's due any minute.
Thanksgiving Dinner- YUM
And a B-day party for my dad.
Last night we had our ward Christmas party. Jack got to sit on Santa's lap and tell all of the things he wants for Christmas.
This is our sad attempt at a family shot. Notice (how can you not) piles of laundry and half decorated tree- lovely. Parker surprised me with this tree. The scouts were selling them for $10 and Parker said he called the guy, but they were already out. So, I was thinking of just nixing the tree this year. Little did I know, Parker stashed the tree out back and set it up with lights whilst I slept to surprise me. I LOVE it. I'm so glad we have a tree for Jack's first Christmas. Not that he cares, but I do. And he LOVES it, by the way. He stares at the lights. (Jack, not Parker)
p.s. Parker sang "Oh Holy Night" at the Christmas party. He's awesome.
