Yesterday we took advantage of Parker's half day and went to Blue Lake Park. This is the beautiful/closed/algae filled lake.
But the splash park was open! There was hardly anyone there. At one point I think I saw NO kids playing in the water.
We found ourselves a nice shady patch to eat our lunch.

What a nice day you had. The sun sure isn't shining here. Dang. I'm glad school is behind Parker now. He must be relieved.
