Have you ever been to a movie by yourself? I have. 3 times. I actually enjoy it. You should try it sometime. The other night I went to this movie:
It didn't get great reviews, but I'm not the type of movie watcher who needs great reviews to get me to see a movie. (Chick flicks are pretty much a guarantee in my book.) I really liked this one. I LOVED the music. -If you're not a fan of country music, you may want to disregard this review.- The acting was decent enough for me. It had all I needed... a little romance and a little emotion. I used to think that people who went to movies alone were crazy. But now that I have 2 kids at home, it doesn't sound like such a bad idea. I won't be seeing that movie, though, due to the nasty country music :-).
It was fun to catch up on your blog. I can't believe you got to go to Australia! LUCKY!
I went to a movie by myself once. I liked it. The one thing I discovered, is that I didn't have to think about whether the person I went with was having a good time, or liked the film. Good for you Carlie. Your Dad likes to go to movies by himself and slog down that big bucket of popcorn. Haaaaa!!!
