Faces

I wanted to put 462 pictures on this post, but I'll spare you.

I really can't believe it. Despite my skepticism, Charlie is still the easiest baby that ever lived. Oh, how lucky I am. Last night, he had a 7 hour stretch between feedings. And then another4+ hour stretch. During the day, he eats about every 3 hours. He's starting to talk more and is smiling regularly. I've yet to catch a good one. He's weighing about 12.5 pounds at 6.5 weeks. Everyone comments on how big he is. He loves to be held, but doesn't mind hanging out in his bouncy seat. I can guarantee that he will fall asleep if I snuggle him. We have not had a single moment of fussiness that couldn't be resolved with a binky, a feeding, or a snuggle. He is awesome in the car and running errands. My mom asked me yesterday if I will be ready soon to have another one. The answer would be yes, except that would require me to be pregnant and deliver the baby; I haven't mustered the courage. Plus the fact that the next one will most likely be a nightmare! :) The time will come.

That's exactly how I felt after Amyah was born! Ready to have another...except the pregnancy... He sounds like such a good baby! Thank goodness for good babies. :) A friend told me that her best baby was her worst toddler. It scared me. And it turned out to be true! Amyah is our craziest (screams, swats, and bites when she doesn't get her way...). I don't think this is the normal outcome. Crossing my fingers your little one stays an angel. He is soooo stinkin' cute by the way. I love those cheeks! It sounds like you guys are settling into your new lifestyle well. Thinking of you always! xoxoxo
