Every time we ask Jack to say Happy Easter, he says, "Happy Easter Egg!"
We had lots of fun celebrating this year. This was the first holiday Jack actually enjoyed the festivities:
These pictures are not in order, obviously.
The kids' table.
Jack can not get enough of his cousins' trampoline!
The big kid table.
We decided that we've had Easter together at Lisa's (Parker's sister) probably 4 out of the last 5 years. We always have the same menu- parmesan chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, angel biscuits, deviled eggs, and raspberry pretzel salad/dessert. It's been a fun tradition! Hope we keep it going!!

Before church. This was the first time we dressed the boys alike. I even made them matching ties. I seriously could just eat them.
Jack's Easter egg hunt in our backyard. I was surprised that he got the concept of "hunt." He's never really "hunted" before. In fact, anytime I ask him to go look for something, he doesn't. Hmmmm.
He loved everything about our Easter Eggs.
This was after church. Charlie was starving (doesn't he look it?) and exhausted. Man. I love my three boys.
I was pleasantly surprised that Jack LOVED dyeing the eggs. He wanted to get ALL up in those colors! :)
Every time he gets too close to something I don't want him to touch he says, "Just yook." And then he gets as close as possible without touching it.
Our friends invited us to an Easter Egg hunt. We were so disappointed to arrive just after they had the 0-3's hunt (slash pick up) eggs. Nevermind that we were busy eating french toast at Kneaders. We made an executive decision to let our 2 year-olds participate with the 9-12ers, with our assistance, of course.

Charlie didn't mind being the observer.
They had the eggs set up for 10 minutes before they could go pick them up. I'm sure you can imagine what that's like for a 2.5 year old (and his parents).
Let the hunting begin! Parker had a little Papa Bear come out in him as the 12 year olds wanted to STEAL the eggs Parker had designated for Jack. How dare they.
Cute little friends.
Did you have a fun Easter too?? Hope so.
Good Luck Charlie

What fun. So glad you have family near you now. Glad, and jealous that you're far away from us.
Happy Easter to you and your cute family! It's so fun to have kids start to really enjoy holidays! Makes the celebration so special! BTW, Jack is adorable in these pictures. I love the picture of Charlie yawning. And your matching outfits are too cute!
